Hinckley Elementary School is a Pre-K to 6 school with over 500 students.

Parents and visitors are always welcome in our buildings. Please stop in the office to check in when you arrive.  You will need to ring the door buzzer to gain access.

We know there are many places you can enroll your student. However, not all education options are equal. We are proud of our success and are happy to offer a warm, inviting and safe place for all learners to grow. In partnership with a supportive community we offer an education for the 21st century with the goal to shape citizens of the future with skills for the world.

Student progress at the Hinckley-Finlayson Elementary Schools are assessed and evaluated using the NWEA MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test, DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills), and the MCA III (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment) assessments. 

We have a wonderfully supportive parent groups that helps sponsor activities such as, Open House, Book Fair, Family Fun Night, Carnival, Skate Time, and numerous other activities.
